RARE TREENWARE STRAINER

A rare, nice treenware spoon or ladle made of maple used as a strainer. There are holes cut into the bowl. It is nicely carved with a tapered handle and mushroom finial top. It is made of two pieces. Additional photos are attached by the magnifying glass icon.

EARLY DOVETAILED TRINKET BOX WITH INLAID HEARTS DECORATION

A wonderful walnut trinket box with inlaid conjoined hearts on the left side. The box has hand sawed dovetails and has a raised faceted top. A small piece of the top at the right hinge is missing. At that same hinge on the interior a broken piece was reglued. There is a shrinkage crack on the underside of the lid, but it does not go through and is stable. There was some sort of a lock or fastener at one time. The bottom board and inlaid hearts are made of maple. The box has an old dry varnish surface. EARLY LARGE TREENWARE NOGGIN

Large noggin made from a single piece of maple. There is a shrinkage separation that runs from top to bottom, but it is stable. It exhibits no movement at all. The noggin has a warm color patina. Additional photos are attached by the magnifying glass icon.

MINIATURE ROUND TREENWARE PANTRY BOX

A miniature round pantry box fastened with nails at the fingers, and pegs around the perimeter. The bands are made of maple and the top and bottom of pine. The points of the fingers are missing. Nice dark patina. Additional photos are attached by the magnifying glass icon.

SMALL PEASEWARE LIDDED JAR

A diminutive peaseware footed and lidded jar. There are two very tiny hairline cracks that are stable. Beautifully turned treenware in a rare size. Additional photos are attached by the magnifying glass icon.
