A rare unsilvered glass tulip on a clip with a wax head girl. She is adorned with a crepe paper ruffled collar and hood. Her hand painted face and the wax head are in excellent condition. The tulip has only remnants of what used to be soft pastel white and maybe some yellow details. I do not see any signs of oxidation inside the tulip which would indicate that it might have been silvered. The glass looks almost clear when held up to a light. This definitely is an earlier piece.
