A wonderful spun cotton peasant girl with paper hands, a composition face, and mohair wig. She is dressed in a crepe paper dress with puffy sleeves and a red and white striped underdress. There is a crepe paper "babushka" on her head. The back of her dress is discolored from old candle wax drippings and has a small tear. She is an early, great ornament. This is a great spun cotton bathing "beauty" in a Victorian brown crepe paper bathing suit and swim cap. She has the whimsical paper hands and a composition face that shows her sunburned cheeks and big red lips. Red crepe paper forms her belt and collar trim. There are a few tiny tears on her suit and what appears to be old wax drippings that show some discoloration. There is a tiny repair on the tip of her nose which is barely noticeable. A very rare and beautiful spun cotton girl skier with a paper mache mask face with hand painted details. She is in a cotton batting snowsuit with gold chenille trim. Her skipole and skiis are wood and one ski appears to have an old glued repair. It is very stable and secure. The bottom of her skirt has some discoloration and wear from handling and age, but overall she is in excellent condition. She is a probable mate to the boy skier ornament which is also listed. A rare, charming, large spun cotton clown with a hand painted composition mask face. He is dressed in a red and gold crepe paper costume. There are minor tears on each sleeve. His suit and hat have round paper buttons. There is a tiny chip on the tip of his nose and chin and some smudging and discoloration to the cotton from age and handling. A fantastic piece! A great spun cotton boy sitting on a wooden sled. He has brown mohair hair and a composition hand painted face. He has a gleeful expression on his face as if he is sliding down a hill. There is a black painted trim on the edge of his shoes. He sits on a sled that is decorated with white paint and light dusting of glitter to simulate snow. There is a stamp on the bottom of the sled that is difficult to read but most likely says GERMANY as this piece is definitely German. There are some spots of discoloration to the cotton from age and handling but overall in excellent condition. Additional photos are attached by the magnifying glass icon.

A large Victorian woman with a cotton batting skirt decorated with green crepe paper ribbons and bows. She is a beautifully embossed scrap and her jacket and cap are covered with a light dusting of glitter. She carries a bouquet of roses. There is some discoloration to the cotton from age. A wonderful spun cotton girl with her red cotton ball sitting on a sled. She is also a candy container. She separates at the waist for candy retrieval. She has a wax face with deep dark blue glass eyes. Her face is hand painted. There are some scratches to the surface of the wax but overall the wax is in great condition. Her cotton batting winter suit has slight discoloration from age. She also has some brunette mohair hair under her hat. In excellent condition. A wonderful Victorian spun cotton soccer player ornament. He is holding a cotton ball. He is wearing a crepe paper striped shirt, crepe paper striped socks and a crepe paper cap. His head is cotton with a hand painted face. He does show some wear from age and handling. The area on the back of his shirt that looks like a stain, is not as obvious in person. The camera makes it look more pronounced from the light. His feet are black cotton. He is a very early piece in overall very good condition.
