EARLY SPUN COTTON CHAMPAGNE BOTTLE

This is a wonderful, early spun cotton champagne bottle. There are traces of yellow color and a gold painted top. The surface is covered with crushed mica to give it a shimmer. There is slight discoloration due to age and handling. Otherwise, it is in excellent condition. Additional photos are attached by the magnifying glass icon.

WONDERFUL COTTON BASKET WITH CHAMPAGNE BOTTLE AND FRUITS

This is a wonderful, hard cotton basket that has a composition coating and mica surface. The inside is filled with gold tinsel and a composition champagne bottle and tiny fruits that are handpainted. It also has a gold painted cardboard handle for hanging. There is a small separation on the basket near the base and a little bit of wear to one of the fruits, but overall it is in excellent condition. RARE SPUN COTTON PARROT WITH PAPER WINGS AND TAIL

This is a rare spun cotton parrot with embossed dresden paper wings and tail. It is painted with orange and black details and has a brown beak. There is an old glued repair at the top of the tail that is only noticeable from the underside. The little feet are made of wire. Overall, in excellent condition and a wonderful collectible piece! SPUN COTTON BRANDY BOTTLE

An early spun cotton brandy bottle with its original paper label. A very light dusting of mica on the surface and a hint of glitter at the top of the bottle. Some slight discoloration from age, otherwise in excellent condition. Additional photos are attached by the magnifying glass icon.

RARE EARLY SPUN COTTON LANTERN

A wonderful and rare, early spun cotton ornament in the form of a Japanese style lantern. Red painted dots simulate little flowers. Stiff black cardboard forms the top and bottom of the lantern.
There is a wire loop for the handle. Some slight discoloration to the cotton, otherwise in excellent condition. Additional photos are attached by the magnifying glass icon.

EARLY SPUN COTTON BASKET WITH BOTTLES

An early spun cotton basket with three spun cotton champagne bottles. The bottles are dark pink, yellow and blue. Crepe paper covers the basket that is decorated with a floral scrap. The handle is also cotton wrapped. The bottles have silver paint at their tops. There is a slight dusting of mica on the basket. VERY RARE SPUN COTTON MONEY BAG ORNAMENT

This is a rare spun cotton money bag ornament. These ornaments (money bags) were designed to bring good luck and prosperity in the coming year. The numerals 500, sometimes seen as 50,000, relates to the high inflation of the economy at that time. 50,000 marks would have been worth about 2 1/2 cents. This great piece has a slightly  embossed gold dresden paper coin and a silver coin. Also decorated with tinsel cord. The surface is lightly dusted with mica to make it shimmer.
