This is a wonderful, hard cotton basket that has a composition coating and mica surface. The inside is filled with gold tinsel and a composition champagne bottle and tiny fruits that are handpainted. It also has a gold painted cardboard handle for hanging. There is a small separation on the basket near the base and a little bit of wear to one of the fruits, but overall it is in excellent condition. An early spun cotton basket with three spun cotton champagne bottles. The bottles are dark pink, yellow and blue. Crepe paper covers the basket that is decorated with a floral scrap. The handle is also cotton wrapped. The bottles have silver paint at their tops. There is a slight dusting of mica on the basket. There is some minor darkening from age and handling, but overall in excellent condition. Additional photos are attached by the magnifying glass icon.

Wonderful small spun cotton stork ornament with a black painted tail and painted black eyes. The beak is red painted wire and the legs are paper wrapped wire also painted red. Except for some age discoloration to the cotton, it is in excellent condition. Additional photos are attached by the magnifying glass icon.

A terrific wire-wrapped cotton bird house with a cardboard base and cardboard roof covered with glitter. There are two tiny red composition berries on one side and a tiny bit of tucksheer on the other side. There is an embossed scrap of a bird nestled on flowers on the front. There is a crease on the lower right corner of the base, mostly noticeable on the underside. The base is also stamped "Germany". Except for minor discoloration to the cotton from age, it is in excellent condition. Additional photos are attached by the magnifying glass icon.

A great early spun cotton reindeer ornament. It has a hand painted face and paper covered antlers. There are some very slight flaws and discoloration to the cotton, but overall an excellent piece. Additional photos are attached by the magnifying glass icon.

A great early large spun cotton stork candy container. One wing lifts up for candy retrieval. It has glass eyes, a red wooden beak and wire legs and feet. There are black painted details. There is one brown spot on one side of the neck, and minor discoloration from age. Overall in excellent condition. Additional photos are attached by the magnifying glass icon.

An early spun cotton speckled egg ornament in a soft pale yellow color. The speckles are red and blue. There is a very light dusting of mica on the surface. Red yarn is sewn onto the top of the egg as a hanger. In excellent condition. Additional photos are attached by the magnifying glass icon.

A spun cotton champagne bottle with it's original paper label dated 1919. The surface is covered with mica flakes to make it shimmer in the light. Silver foil decorates the top of the bottle. In excellent condition. Additional photos are attached by the magnifying glass icon.

A spun cotton stork candy container with orange glass eyes. It has black painted details, a red painted wooden beak and red painted wire legs. One wing lifts up to reveal a candy container. There is minor discoloration in the cotton.  It also has a portion of a label under its wing. In excellent condition. Additional photos are attached by the magnifying glass icon.

8" Height

An early spun cotton songbird on a clip with real bird feathers for its wings and tail. The bird is painted green with a cream colored head. It has an orange painted beak. Part of one black beaded eye is missing but the remnant is still there. The clip works fine. Additional photos are attached by the magnifying glass icon.
