David Pool Antiques

An early spun cotton medium sized stork with glass eyes, a red wooden beak and wire legs and feet. It has black painted details. The cotton has minor discoloration from age and there is a little wear to the end of one wing. Additional photos are attached by the magnifying glass icon.

A great early large spun cotton stork candy container. One wing lifts up for candy retrieval. It has glass eyes, a red wooden beak and wire legs and feet. There are black painted details. There is one brown spot on one side of the neck, and minor discoloration from age. Overall in excellent condition. Additional photos are attached by the magnifying glass icon.

A sweet doe ornament made of excelsior and covered with spun cotton. The eyes, ears and tail are applied. There is a black stripe and white dots painted on the back. The feet show wear but are not broken and are very stable. The doe can stand on its own and be used in a putz Christmas display if desired, or hang in the tree. An early spun cotton speckled egg ornament in a soft pale yellow color. The speckles are red and blue. There is a very light dusting of mica on the surface. Red yarn is sewn onto the top of the egg as a hanger. In excellent condition. Additional photos are attached by the magnifying glass icon.

A spun cotton champagne bottle with it's original paper label dated 1919. The surface is covered with mica flakes to make it shimmer in the light. Silver foil decorates the top of the bottle. In excellent condition. Additional photos are attached by the magnifying glass icon.

A spun cotton stork candy container with orange glass eyes. It has black painted details, a red painted wooden beak and red painted wire legs. One wing lifts up to reveal a candy container. There is minor discoloration in the cotton.  It also has a portion of a label under its wing. In excellent condition. Additional photos are attached by the magnifying glass icon.
