An unusual Christmas shadow box titled, Bramber Village and Castle Sussex. It is marked Raphael Tuck and Sons, Copyright London, Paris, New York. The box is made of cardboard and it used to be an easel back which is missing. The mountain design is covered with velvet mounted on cardboard. There is a newer backing to the velvet. The velvet has brown and yellow painted details. The beautiful center watercolor winter scene is covered with glitter. The locomotive is applied silk on cardboard and is painted in watercolor shades of blue and gold details. The embossed silver telegraph pole has tinsel cords attached to it. There is a small piece missing on the Merry Christmas greeting on the bottom. A super piece! Additional photos are attached by the magnifying glass icon.
