"NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS" BY GRAHAM AND MATLACK, NEW YORK

This is a softcover book titled, "Night Before Christmas" published by Graham & Matlack, New York, USA. From the Jolly Santa Claus Series. There is no copyright date, but dates early 1900's and on the last page there is a pencil inscription Dec. 25, 1915. There are six full page color prints including the front and back covers. There are also black and white illustrations. The front cover is fantastic. It almost appears three dimensional. It has a stapled spine and there is some minor paper wear on the outside of the spine and corners. On the bottom right corner, there are a couple of interior pages that have a 1" crease, but mostly noticeable on the back cover. Also, on the last page there is an area with some discoloration. Except for darkening to the pages from age and handling, this wonderful book is in very good condition. Additional photos are attached by the magnifying glass icon.

A hardcover children's Christmas book, "The Night Before Christmas" with introduction by L. Frank Baum. This is a first edition by Reilly & Britton Co. and copyrighted 1905. This is the Christmas Stocking Series. There is some slight separation to the binding. All pages are intact. There are 16 color illustrations and 9 black and white illustrations. There are other stories in the book in addition to the title story. A charming and collectible book. Additional photos are attached by the magnifying glass icon.

A softcover children's Christmas book titled, "The Night Before Christmas" published by Charles E. Graham and Co. New York. There is no copyright date but dates circa early 1900's. There are five lithograph prints including the front and back covers. The front cover is missing the bottom right corner and there is a slight crease in the upper right corner. There is an inscription on the inside cover "from Pauline Little". It has a stapled spine with slight edge wear. There is some minor separation to some of the pages but they are still secure. The pages are clean except for some darkening from age and handling. The colors of the prints are bright and beautiful. Overall, in great shape.
