This is a softcover book titled, "Santa Claus And His Works" published by McLoughlin Bros. New York and copyrighted 1888. This is one of the smallest versions of this book that we have seen. There are eight full page color prints including the front and back covers. Also, other black and red illustrations. There is a crease on the bottom right hand corner of the front cover. On a couple of pages in the inside near the stapled spine, there is a crease but does not detract and is very stable. Except for some darkening to the pages from age, it is in remarkable condition. A wonderful and rare hardcover children's Christmas book titled, "Dear Old Santa Claus" published by Charles E. Graham & Co. New York. There is no copyright date but is early 1900's. It has a stitched spine with six color plates and numerous black and white illustrations. The pages are clean and all intact. There is a minor scratch on the front cover and minor corner  wear to the front and back covers. From the Holly Wreath Booklet Series and overall, in excellent condition.
