TIN CHAIR RAIL CANDLE HOLDER

An unusual tin chair rail candle holder with a crimped base for the candle socket. In good condition. Additional photos are attached by the link to the right.

18TH- EARLY 19TH CENTURY WROUGHT IRON CANDLE SNUFFER AND WICK TRIMMER

An 18th century/early 19th century hand wrought iron candle snuffer and wick trimmer. The hand wrought rivet holding it together is made of copper. It is supported by three legs, one of which was replaced long ago with a hand forged iron nail. This is a nice primitive collectible. Additional photos are attached by the link to the right.

ADAMS & WESTLAKE RAILROAD CAR WALL MOUNTED CANDLE SCONCE

This is a candle sconce that mounted on the wall of railroad cars. It is stamped Adams & Westlake Co. Chicago and the word Adlake is in the center of the cartouche. It is also stamped with the patent date of Sept  10, 1907. The candle height adjusts automatically because it is spring loaded. The original chimney is marked "MACBETH PEARL GLASS", MADE IN U.S.A.  The lamp appears to be made of copper which has been painted gold. The maple stand is new and made to display the lamp. This is an interesting item that can be used when the electricity goes out! Additional photos are attached by the link to the right.

RARE ORIGINAL PAINT DECORATED TOLEWARE SCONCE

A rare, early American tin toleware sconce with original paint decoration. While some of the paint has worn away, we have seldom seen an early tin sconce with genuine original paint without touch-up. RARE WROUGHT IRON THREE CANDLE HANGING CHANDELIER

This is an appealing, nicely proportioned wrought iron hanging candleholder with three sockets. The surface has rust. There are three areas of decorative twistwork on the hanger. Because of the high cost of candles, not many of these multi-socket candleholders were made. Additional photos are attached by the link to the right.

WROUGHT IRON FOUR SPOUT HANGING GREASE LAMP

A wrought iron four spout hanging grease lamp with decorative twisted pattern in the hanger. The lamp could accommodate as many as four wicks. Additional photos are attached by the magnifying glass icon.

PAIR OF TALL ENGLISH BEEHIVE SHABBAT BRASS CANDLESTICKS

A pair of English made brass beehive Shabbat (Sabbath) candlesticks. These candlesticks have a beautiful design but they do exhibit a lot of wear from use. They do not have any English registry marks. The underside of the bases are stamped with a Star of David and other marks. The push-ups are missing or incomplete. Apparently, they were made for a Judaic market. EARLY WROUGHT IRON RUSH LIGHT CANDLE HOLDER

An early, very nice wrought iron rush light candle holder. It has decorative twist work on the shaft and candle arm. This design allows the candle holder to act as a counterweight to the rush holder. It has pitting and rust. Additional photos are attached by the magnifying glass icon.

RARE CROSS BASE CANDLE STAND WITH FACETED OCTAGONAL TOP

A rare cross base candle stand with a faceted octagonal top. The seven sided support column tapers from the arched cross base to the top. The octagonal top has an applied faceted border. One facet has a small patch and edge damage. There is some beetle damage, mostly to the underside of the base. There are two nails securing a crack in the base, but it is stable. This outstanding candle stand is made of cherry except for the facets which are white pine. The stand has a beautiful warm patina. Additional photos are attached by the magnifying glass icon.
